Housing is the foundation on which we build our lives. As a country, we have had an unstable relationship with public and affordable housing. Housing people affordably is key to helping communities foster citizens who are healthy and engaged. We can close the cycle of poverty and reduce the mental and behavioral health troubles experienced by those who are unstably housed. “Our Journey Home” is a documentary focused on the common belief that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home.
